Computer fundamental innovation
The aim of this paper is to provide a conceptual process for innovative technology management in the computer science career. The Innovative Management System will vary in the organizations however, the frameworks in terms of focus, strengths, and applicability to managing processes and new technologies are the same. Due to the brevity of the assignment, the three elements of the framework are; culture, capabilities, and structure. The IMS describes a systematic approach to create processes, competencies, throughout the organization that meets the vision and sustainability of the organization. The integration approach promotes management to use strategy, resources, capabilities, culture, and structure in their organizations to embed strong innovation management practices. The field of computer science the innovative management framework is a successful implementation in the IMS process for a data analytics firm where I hold an executive position as the Director of Technology.
Culture
At the very heart of the ethos of a career in Technology Management-computer science, my emphasis is in Data Analytics I am committed to continual learning, to seek peer recognition and to help others do the same. This culture provides a return of investment on knowledge acquisition and knowledge sharing across communities of practice especially developing countries, collaborations, branding that increase the levels of commitment to level the access to technology, cohesion, and motivation to take on the challenges of the world and solve and understand them through algorithms. In other words, Data Science exists beyond techniques. It is not the technology that attracts or retains talent in Data Science. What drives people is opensource information and intelligent culture that is fulfilled, challenged and supported in their jobs.
Capabilities
Capabilities in a computer science career is the abilities and resources that I posse and can contribute to managing innovatively in an organization. The capabilities element is focused on people, as an innovation key. The abilities of both individuals and teams collectively.
As I manage Data Analytic projects budget, finances and oversee the teams of programmers I take into account their abilities, practical skills to problem solve, unique insights, knowledge for the organization’s vision to deliver excellent quality and customer service. All of these aspects are required to create innovation.
Structure
The structure is the control that enables the effective use of capabilities for the creation of new technologies and the growth of pre-existing ones. As an innovation manager in technology, I am developing the right structure and implementing the processes, and infrastructure of the organization. The effective and efficient structure of competencies in the various aspects of the department(s), at all levels of the organization, will optimize the organization to operate and innovate.
In an innovative management role, I am creating the right communication channels, building the right infrastructure for implementing ideas, use the tools to enable internal contributors to add value to the organization where they want to evolve and grow their careers. One approach is to build an ambidextrous organization. This means that the organization is structured with open independent channels of development to simultaneously pursue both incremental and discontinuous innovation.
