Basic of computer network

A computer network is a group of interconnected computing devices that can communicate with each other and share resources. These devices can include computers, servers, printers, routers, and switches.

There are different types of computer networks, such as LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), MAN (Metropolitan Area Network), and PAN (Personal Area Network). Each type of network has its own characteristics and purposes.

Computer networks rely on a variety of protocols to establish and maintain communication between devices. The most common protocols used in computer networks include  /IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol),  (Domain Name System), HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol), and SMT P (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol).

In addition to facilitating communication between devices, computer networks also allow users to share resources such as files, applications, and hardware devices like printers and scanners.

Security is an important aspect of computer networks, as they are vulnerable to various types of threats such as hacking, viruses, and malware. Network security measures include firewalls, encryption, access control, and intrusion detection and prevention systems.
